One of my annual traditions is visiting the Canadian National Exhibition. As a little girl, this event was bittersweet… I looked forward to all the sweets, the Superdogs and shopping, but it always reminded me that summer was coming to a close. Not much has changed, and I still visit the EX for the cotton candy and to see the adorable Superdogs.
Lately, a food frenzy has taken over the CNE, and my boyfriend loves to indulge for me. Fran’s in the Food Building had a great array of neat items (and no line!) like a Coffee and Donuts milkshake, deep fried rice pudding balls and Thanksgiving waffles. Daniel tried their take on Chicken and Waffles which included ice cream and hot sauce! The service was great and they even had seating. I personally can’t get caught up in the hype, being gluten free I have to sit most items out…
I always like being comfy at the EX, so I wore a sundress with a suede fringe jacket and flat sandals.
