While I don’t agree with the fashion rule, “No white after labour day,” I can agree that when summer comes to an official close, it’s time to put away those white jeans. As a “last hurrah” I paired a white embroidered tunic from Greece with white jeans for a 1970s inspired Labour day white outfit.
I’m wearing a Greek cotton tunic (similar Graham & Spencer Embroidered Tunic), white jeans from the GAP, Amber wayfarer sunglasses by Love Eyewear c/o Clearly Contacts, Stuart Weitzman peep-toe heels and a white Coach Madison satchel.

Lately, I’ve been wearing more relaxed jean styles and these flared white jeans from the GAP are very on-trend. I also like that the bell-bottom shape elongates the legs even more, which is a great slimming effect when you’re wearing white. Supposedly, skinny jeans are on their way out, so I’ve started re-introducing boot cuts and flared pants into the mix!
These Love Eyewear sunglasses have been my go-to pair for the past couple of weeks. The amber lenses and golden Lucite go with everything, and the shape is flattering on almost every face shape.
While I’ll be spending labour day moving into my apartment in Ottawa, I wanted to share a few great sales happening today! Happy shopping, and enjoy the day off to savour summer!
