Transitioning into fall is always a little difficult for me. I love to hang on to floral summer dresses and flowy skirts for as long as possible. Tights are a no-go until my teeth start chattering, and wearing socks in boots makes me want to cry. I’m always on the hunt for transitional fall pieces that can be layered up when it gets colder, or on their own right away. This grey midi dress from Forever 21 fit the bill perfectly. I’ve worn it on its own with heeled sandals, and with an Aztec-print jacket for a cool fall look.
I’m wearing a grey midi dress from Forever 21, Jeffrey Campbell Everly booties, Emma sunglasses from Urban Outfitters, a Daniel Wellington St. Andrews Lady Watch (get 15 per cent off with code ”NATALIEAST’), a Jewelmint Kitty ring and a Chanel Boy bag iPhone case.

This grey midi dress has a beautiful marled effect that’s casual with a leather jacket or dressed up and modern with a great pair of heels. I wore these comfy cut-out Jeffrey Campbell booties to school and for a dinner date.
We checked out El Camino in Ottawa and had delicious chilaquiles and a fantastic ox tongue taco. Their margarita was good, albeit a little pricey, but the tacos were well worth the wait list to get in. Packed with meat, fresh ingredients, spicy radishes and wrapped in a soft taco, my mouth is watering just thinking about them!
Beautiful look and pictures! Cool Chanel phone bag! 🙂

Clean, polished, and comfortable! Grey has a way of looking anything but dull when done right 🙂 I’m digging it, the little pop of purple is perfect!

Agreed. Transitioning for me is also a challenge, especially when it comes to the colder Canadian winters! Great look and blog, really enjoy your chic looks and great backgrounds in your pictures

Thanks so much! <3 Fall is still fun to dress for, but I am NOT looking forward to another bad winter this year full of sweaters and layers of leggings and tights 🙁
