TIFF Essentials Gifting Lounge

A few weeks ago, I visited the Essentials TIFF Gifting Lounge… which felt like a dream! To the event, I wore a floral wrap dress from Primark for an easy summer look.

The Essentials 7 gifting lounge was open to celebs and media to preview new releases from brands like Smashbox Cosmetics, Vitamin Water, Saucony Canada and KMS California hair care.

I had the chance to get my hair done by KMS California stylist and loved the chic braid combined with easy-going waves. He started by adding some Hair Play texturizing spray, and curled my hair with a curling iron. To get the side braid, he did a simple mini french braid. To set the style, he used Hair Stay maximum hold hair spray. This kept it flawless even in the humidity!

Guests had the opportunity to get makeup touchups from Smashbox, and I loved trying their new Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick. I tried shade “Let’s Dance” which was a really flattering deep fuschia that stayed all day.

I also tried on a new pair of sneaks from Saucony Canada, which I look forward to sharing soon! Lastly, I tried on a Colmar Jacket which offers lightweight insulation. I love how this grey coat is stylish but still has an athleisure influence! I’m sure you will be seeing more of this one soon as well.

Floral Wrap Dress

This floral wrap dress is so simple to wear. It is very forgiving, and the ruffles add a pretty detail. I paired the floral wrap dress with a pair of BCBG studded pumps from DSW Canada.

The studded pumps are perfect Valentino Rockstud dupes. I love their glossy patent design, and they are incredibly comfortable! I have them in leopard as well.

I accessorized with a chic faux suede chocker and a mint Kate Spade handbag. I love how this pastel handbag brings out the colours in the print of the wrap dress.

I would wear this floral wrap dress with a leather jacket to bring it into the fall season.
