Yesterday, I wore a beautiful crochet lace skirt c/o Chicwish and paired it with a simple white cropped tee and some gorgeous accessories to go to a media preview and celebrate my best friend’s birthday! It got a little chilly later, so I layered the coral crochet lace skirt and crop top with a pretty floral blazer. I’m not thrilled about layering in summer, but I love the look of a high-waisted skirt, crop top and blazer combo, I only wish it was office appropriate!

I originally planned on wearing this coral crochet lace skirt with a pink or neutral bag, but I loved the contrast of the purple and coral. They are both such summery colours, and I thought the purple Flox growing in my backyard garden matched perfectly!

I’d pair the pieces with an all black assemble (black crop top w/ leather pants or black crop top with midi skirt) as the necklace and bracelet, as the colour in both pieces would accent the outfit and bring forth colour
