Last week, I attended Anthropologie’s first blogger event in-store at Yorkdale Mall. The brand was showcasing some fall 2014 highlights, including bejewelled clutches, printed scarves and embellished denim. I wore a black and white striped floral dress to the event with sparkly sandals and a bright summery handbag, a complete 180 from the earthy tones on display at the event.
I’m wearing a black and white striped floral dress (similar Maia striped dress), Jewelmint Ritz Rhapsody statement necklace (similar Baublebar necklace), Zara sparkly silver sandals (similar Aldo heels), Kate Spade Seth bag in light crocus (similar Kate Spade Cedar Street Monday) and a rosegold ring (similar Elizabeth and James Windrose Pave ring).

We took these pictures in Yorkville before zipping up to Yorkdale for the event. I loved the natural look of these wildflowers, and how they brang out the purple flowers in this dress. I love classic black and white in the summer, but it can be severe at times. However, this black and white striped floral dress is softened with the colourful neon print.
At the event, change rooms were filled with highlights from Anthropologie’s fall 2014 collection. My favourites included that bohemian “Prateria peasant top“, embellished jeans, a vegan leather bomber jacket and an adorable fox printed “Garden Guest” tote!
