I love it when things that are big in the US set up in Canada! I think the most attractive part about Birchbox is the low monthly price: $14.95, including shipping. You can choose between a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription, and at 6 months, you get one month knocked off the price, and at 1 year, you get two months free. I thought that the packaging was really pretty and there was a good variety of products I would actually use! I love testing out eye and lip products, so the eyeliner and lipgloss were great, while the sample of Benefit High Beam was amazing! The lip gloss sample was very tiny, but the full size eyeliner made up for it. The product was great and extremely waterproof. It’s still on my hand after doing the dishes twice! All of the products are premium, and there was a good variety. I didn’t even take the quiz or personalize my box, and the products were still very appealing to me.
Birchbox also sells full-size versions of many popular products, and you can earn points towards future purchases! This try-before-you-buy model is great if you like to experiment, or if you’re afraid to commit and want to be 100% sure.
