Since going back to the office this fall, I wanted to add a few new pieces to reinvigorate my work wardrobe, without making a huge investment. Zara’s Fall 2020 Collection was full of beautiful separates that can be worn to work and off duty, and make you look super sharp for your zoom calls.
I shared all my Zara Fall 2020 Collection finds in this YouTube video – which gives you a sense of what the pieces look like on. If you haven’t already, please subscribe to my YouTube channel for more fashion hauls and reviews!
Best Zara Fall 2020 Collection Blazers
I purchased 3 blazers from the Zara Fall 2020 collection. My ultimate favourite was easily the navy metal button blazer! I bought a size small and it fits like a dream. I saw this blazer all over instagram in camel with the matching shorts, but even on its own, it reminds me of a Balmain Blazer dupe. You can check out the real thing here, but I’m convinced the Zara dupe is just as nice! Don’t sleep on this one.
I styled the navy gold button blazer from Zara with a pair of Everlane high-rise skinny jeans, a merino wool sweater from And Other Stories, my vintage Christian Dior double saddle bag (similar style here), and Hermes Constance Belt, and my Sam Edelman Loaraine loafers in burgundy brocade.
Another beautiful blazer I picked up was this teal tweed blazer which is sadly sold out! If your local Zara is open, I would keep your eye out, but I found a similar tweed blazer here.
The last blazer I picked up was a paisley-printed blazer along with the matching pants. The blazer felt very flimsy and lacked structure. I was very disappointed, and the pants were way too small even though I sized up to a medium. With the exposed elastic on the back, these were also not worth the $50+ price tag so I returned them right away. I found this paisley blazer on Asos, and it seems to feature a textured brocade which was what I was hoping for!
Zara Fall 2020 Collection – Shackets and Cardigans
I was so eager to jump on the shacket trend when I came across this gorgeous wool-blend plaid shacket from Zara. I love the pretty, feminine colours in this plaid, the oversized silhouette and the cozy wool fabric. I wore this a lot at the cottage in fall, either with sleek jeans, or thrown over my sweats for gardening and chores. I love that you can dress it up too! I also found a similar style here, in case your Zara sold out!
Here, I wore the Zara shacket with a pair of grey Fidelity Denim jeans, a white tee from Abercrombie, and a beige fedora felt hat from Urban Outfitters.
This purple alpaca cardigan is still available and is SO cozy. It’s the perfect oversized shape yet is still very feminine. I love wearing it with a simple white tee and jeans, but it would look super chic over a slim knit dress. I also found another purple cardigan that’s more cropped, in case you prefer it!
For this look, I paired the purple alpaca oversized carigan with a white tee from Aritzia, Madewell Cali Demi-Boot jeans, Keds x Rifle Paper Co. sneakers, Mejuri Boyfriend Hoops and a Melanie Auld locket.
I hope you enjoyed this style roundup of some beautiful pieces from the Zara Fall 2020 Collection, including some inspiration on how to wear these pieces! As you can see, I was a big fan of all the blazers and toppers. I love layering this time of year, and all of these pieces are reasonably priced for good quality materials that feel a lot more expensive than Zara!
