The glass building has always been in the background of my commute home from school, and finally I had the chance to visit the lush greenhouse at Allan Gardens.
It might not have been the best idea to visit a humid greenhouse when it was a veritable greenhouse outside as well… but my hair and skin just loves it. I also had the chance to finally wear my new asymmetrical skort from Zara. The origami folds are visually interesting, and the skort is so practical for work or commuting on the subway. I can see why this style has stolen the hearts of the fashion blogosphere. I paired the black skort with a simple white jewelled tank from Urban Planet, polka dot satin wedges and a large quilted yellow bag.
I wanted to compliment the space with my jewelry and wore my leather snake bracelet (get it, the garden of Eden?) from the Scuola del Cuoio Santa Croce in Florence.
The palm room was full of lush banana and palm trees soaring to the glass ceiling.
From desserts to lush tropical oasis, the gardens were overflowing with beautiful flowers and plants. I’m sad I’ve never visited this garden before, but I’m sure I’ll be visiting soon when I feel the need to soak in the fresh, humid air.
Such fabulous arm candy, gorgeous top and a darling skort! And thanks for the tour through your local gardens!
