Valentine’s Day Outfit Idea: Heart Print Shirt

Valentine’s Day is only a week away, and I’ve already got my outfit planned. I’m a bit of a romantic, and I can’t fault a holiday that centres around chocolate, roses and love. I wanted to share a cute Valentines Day outfit idea that isn’t all red and pink. I paired a neutral heart print shirt with a blush pink skort for a modern, simple look that isn’t over the top.

My pale purple Rebecca Minkoff Quilted Mini Affair bag is getting a lot of usage. I love the gold chain and quilted design, and I like how I’ve paired it with the pastel skirt and jewelled bracelet.

I love the pretty heart print on this blouse. Black and white blouses go with everything from jeans to a pencil skirt, and this piece was so versatile! I brought it with me to Cancun and wore it on the plane with leggings, and wore it a couple times at the resort, once with this skort and another time with a maxi skirt. I love how the sleeves are convertible, and the pretty gold buttons and sexy cleavage are a nice touch!

I wasn’t sure about the Summer Skort at first, but now I’m obsessed. Club Monaco always has the nicest skirts and this piece feels so luxurious and elegant. I love the pale ballerina pink colour and think it’s a pretty alternative to blaring red on Valentine’s Day.

One of my favourite aspects of this look are my crescent moon earrings. The cosmos are a romantic theme, and I love the unique design of this pair.

My shoes add a bit of sex appeal to this outfit, with their lace up and cut out design. They are so comfortable and look great both with bare legs and with tights, like how I wore them here.
