On the third day at WMCFW, the rain didn’t stop attendees from wearing fashionable frocks. The wet weather was a bit of a bummer, but I injected some colour into my all-Canadian ensemble with a striped organza dress by Breeyn McCarney, an adorable perfume purse and a polka-dot umbrella. A little fascinator added some more whimsy to the look as well.
I’m wearing a Mackage wool coat, pink striped organza dress designed by Breeyn McCarney, a fascinator by Ophelie Hats, Dollarama clear polka-dot umbrella (a STEAL for $2), Aldo perfume purse and Nine West booties.
This perfume purse was love at first sight. It holds all my essentials if I play tetris with my keys and wallet, and the little gold tassel and chain strap are a nice touch as well.
My wool coat from Mackage has become a perennial favourite. It is warm and the high quality wool and leather has lasted several seasons. I love the classic a-line shape of this coat, and it easily layers over blazers, jackets and sweaters in colder months. My booties are also versatile, and can work with both dresses and skinny jeans. I love the buckle and vintage spat and round heel style.
Bobby Raffin and I took some pictures in front of SOHO house, and I love his aviator-inspired look! Both of us were going for a vintage, 1940s feel with our outfits, but with modern updates. He was wearing an incredible Jump From Paper bag which made him look like a newsboy straight out of a cartoon! Kind of funny we both wore quirky bags to the shows that day…
