See my vest! See my vest!

See my vest! See my vest!

For the past week, Toronto has seen frigid temperatures. So cold that, even under a parka, I was reaching for a faux fur vest, cashmere sweater and thermal underwear. I wanted to share this look which is as cozy and warm as it is cute.

I’m wearing a mint cashmere sweater from Lord & Taylor, a faux fur vest c/o Nowistyle, a vegan leather fringed skirt from Joe Fresh (similar here), my new dav rainboots and a pearl beanie c/o Nowistyle.

I love how cozy this fur vest is. It can easily be worn over a shirt and skirt combo like I wore it, or over a button up and jeans for a casual look perfect for hitting the chalet! My boyfriend called me a gorilla and I started singing, See my vest! See my vest! … the only thing I’m hunting for is an outfit that looks good…

To go with the colour theme, I accessorized with my mint and black striped Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag. I love how this bag works in the summer with a sundress, or here in winter to add some colour into the look.

When it’s snowy out, I love wearing rain boots, because not only are they waterproof, they are more streamlined than other winter boot options. I love this new pair from dav because of their classic moto style and fleece lining. I’m impressed that they come with a year warranty and I’ve been recommending them to everyone! They also go season-to-season, so it makes sense to invest in a pair. Hopefully I’ll be playing around in April puddles soon, but until then, bundle up!

Love this look! That vest is really gorgeous and the mint striped bag really pulled it all together xx
