Today was the last day of the century where the date, month and year are the same. While it doesn’t have too much significance, I can imagine all the happy newlyweds and babies born on this special date. Today, I stuck close to home, as I was interviewed for CTV on at-home gel nail kits…more to come soon. For lounging around the house, I wore this outfit, inspired by a precious little monkey, and frostier weather than my Mexican getaway.
I’m wearing a frost blue sweater by Alfred Sung from Zellers… believe it or not! Grey leopard jeans from Winners, BCBG booties and a black faux shearling coat (inspired by Darwin of course) c/o Nowistyle.
I loved the horn toggle details on this coat! It’s also so warm, as it’s an acrylic shearling material.
Of course, I was inspired by Darwin’s inimitable fashion sense. I’m jealous of that shearling coat, he’s working it. Darwin is the star of Toronto these days, as the little monkey who just wanted to eat swedish meatballs and play in the ball pit at IKEA North York. He’s so adorable and stylish, he’s stolen everyone’s heart.
While I’m nowhere near as cute as the primate, I added some of the wild side with my leopard jeans, but glammed it up with a pearl and crystal necklace.
Happy 12.12.12!
Love that necklace lady!
