This look was inspired by a recent trip to Montreal’s Botanical Garden. I was inspired by the beautiful landscapes, flowers and of course, the butterflies in the insectarium.
I’m wearing this beautiful “Charming Camelias Dress“, c/o Sugarlips Apparel. I love the analogous asymmetrical hem, the stitched bodice and of course, the delicate floral print.
I love the details of the bustier and the way the seams are piped. Sometimes cotton floral dresses can be eponymous, so I always look for the little details that make a dress special. I’m wearing a butterfly ring from Ha-Choo, a giftstore in Apsley where my cottage is located.
But my favourite accessory to this look is without a doubt, my shoes. I fell in love with these butterfly lace up booties when I saw them at Zara. If there was ever a shoe made for me, this is it. They are so comfortable in a soft suede, and I love the way the laces hold my foot in- a must for a dancer!
I love the way the dress slowly cascades down, it’s a really flattering look and the hem isn’t too extreme so it can be worn and cherished for seasons to come.
